Children and Chess Chess is a superior educational tool that develops important mental disciplines. Concentration, logical reasoning, judgment and goal planning are all integrated and required during each game. Most importantly, chess is fun to play.
|
Young Knights Dedication Led by Alan Kantor, National Chess Master, we are dedicated to bringing top-notch people into the area to help in the growth of chess into the Hudson Valley region and schools. Kantor has over 20 years of tournament/classroom experience. All instructors/coaches are U.S. Chess Federation members and are chosen with careful precision in helping our children and making them grow. We are constantly trying to improve and find ways to make things better. Our focus is to share the educational benefits of chess with the children and have fun.
